Four people have been arrested on charges of aiding and abetting a wanted relative who is accused of killing one person and injuring another in a shooting outside a Sikh temple, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department said Friday.

Amandeep Singh Dhami, 24, and Gurpreet Singh Gosal, 24, are accused of shooting to death Parmjit Pamma Singh and injuring a 38-year-old man who were watching a basketball game outside of the Sacramento Sikh Society Temple on Aug. 31.

Detectives think four of Dhami's relatives had knowledge that the crime of murder had been committed, that he was a suspect and aided in his escape.

Two women were arrested Thursday, and two men were arrested Friday.

They were identified as Dhami's cousin, Bhupinder Chahal, 29; Chahal's wife, Harpreet Kaur, 28; Dhami's sister-in-law, Rajvir Kaur, 27; and Dhami's father, Balbir Dhami, 50.

All four were charged as accessories to murder and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail, Sgt. Tim Curran said.

Dhami is not in custody. A warrant has been issued for his arrest on a charge of murder. He is East Indian, stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes, officials said. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Curran said investigators think Dhami has left the area and may be attempting to leave the country.

Investigators said they think the shooting was the result of an ongoing dispute between Dhami's and Singh's families and was not a hate crime, Curran said.

Gosal is currently in custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail. Curran said he suffered injuries when the crowd at the sports tournament hit him with field hockey and cricket sticks.
