KQCA 58 Announces 'MyNetworkTV' Affiliation

KQCA 58 became "My58," on Tuesday, September 5, 2006.

"We feel that the partnership between KQCA 58 and MyNetworkTV is a perfect fit," said Elliott Troshinsky, President and General Manager of KQCA 58. "The new My58 brand will focus on connecting our viewers with a network created specifically for them, providing a solid interactive experience online and giving viewers a true sense of ownership of our station."

In making the announcement, Fox Television Stations CEO, Jack Abernethy, stated: "KQCA is a top-rated station and has a great relationship with its viewers. We are excited to be partnered with them to bring MyNetworkTV programming to the Sacramento market."

MyNetworkTV is now cleared in 151 markets, including 27 of the top 30, representing nearly 87% of U.S. television households. The network will provide broadcasters with operational flexibility through a seamless flow of original primetime programming and branded national marketing initiatives that allow stations to maintain and strengthen their localism.
