OK, so maybe the closest thing to a red carpet in your life is the faded carpet runner at your favorite Laundromat. But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a cocktail like those celebrities who line up to see and be seen at the Academy Awards.

One of the glitziest gatherings is the post-show party known as the Governors Ball, where all the celebs gather to run through every last details of the awards ceremony.

Special drinks are concocted just for this event, and this year, the recipes from the Governors Ball and the pre-show party were shared with us here at Liquid Solutions.

So while we might not be rubbing shoulders with the stars, at least we can sip with them.

With no further adieu, the two cocktails served to celebs before and after the 80th Annual Academy Awards Are:

The Patrón “Red Carpet”
1 ½ oz Patrón Silver Tequila
½ ounce Patrón Citrónge Orange Liqueur
Fresh raspberry juice
Dash organic cranberry juice
Fresh lime juice
Gold sugar rim
Garnish: orange wedge dipped in gold sugar (available at cake supply shops, arts and crafts stores)

Stir ingredients together. Serve in Cosmopolitan glass.

The Ultimat “ Envelope Please”
1 ½ oz of Ultimat Vodka
½ oz of Patrón Citrónge Orange Liqueur
Fresh squeezed apple juice
Fresh lime juice
Dash cranberry juice
Garnish with apple wedge

Stir ingredients together. Serve in Cosmopolitan glass.
